Joey Bosa

Defensive Line • Chargers

Bottom Line

Bosa might already be the NFL’s best defensive lineman, and he’ll only be 23 when the new season begins. As a rookie in 2016, Bosa had 10.5 sacks despite sitting out much of training camp because of a contract dispute, then missing four games with a hamstring injury and playing most of the season with a dislocated finger. Relatively healthy in 2017, he ranked seventh in the league with 12.5 sacks and had 70 combined tackles, trailing only Khalil Mack among defensive linemen. Bosa also forced three fumbles. The 6-5, 280-pound Bosa has remarkable first-step quickness to go along with sneaky power that belies his lack of sheer bulk. Having firmly established himself as a true difference-maker after just two NFL seasons, Bosa is the top defensive lineman on the IDP board.
