Godwin came on down the stretch last year, and the Buccaneers have talked about wanting to give him a bigger role in his second NFL season. After catching only eight passes in his first eight games, Godwin had 26 catches for 442 yards (17.0 YPC) and a touchdown over the second half of the regular season, with 10-209-1 in his last two games. At a chiseled 6-1 and 209 pounds, and with 4.42 speed, Godwin has the required tools to take a big step forward in 2018.
There might not be enough targets available for Godwin to become consistently useful in the fantasy game. Mike Evans commands a huge number of throws, DeSean Jackson is still around, and the Buccaneers have a good pair of tight ends in O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate.
Godwin is a physically gifted receiver who bears watching after playing well late last season, but target obstacles might make him a player to monitor from afar.
