Boom

In 13 games last season, Clay caught 49 passes for 558 yards and two touchdowns. In three seasons in Buffalo, he has averaged 52--546--3. Clay’s best season was 2013 in Miami when he caught 759 yards and six touchdowns. He is in the final year of a four-year contract with the Bills.

Bust

Clay has missed at least one game in all but one of his seven seasons in Miami and Buffalo. His 49 receptions last season were his fewest since 2012, his second season in the league.

Bottom Line

In a contract season, Clay should have plenty of incentive to perform. His pedestrian stats and Buffalo’s muddled QB situation, however, make him no better than a TE2.
