Strong Points: Very instinctive and quick reacting playmaker. Lacks great size but very good at slipping blocks and getting to plays. Adept at playing "possum," meaning he doesn't look like he understands the play then quickly bursts to the ball. Good hitter. Fluid with his pass drop and shows he can cover man to man or in zone. Plants and drives very well.
Weak Points: Marginal size but should easily be able to get to 235 pounds. Overaggressive -- attacks so hard that he gets out of control and miss tackles. Inconsistent wrapping up.
The Way We See It: I like how Joseph plays: instinctive with top athleticism and speed. He finds the ball in a hurry and seals the deal. Joseph is very effective blitzing off the edge and up the middle. He's an aggressive hitter who is also very good in coverage with awareness and transition skills. Though he likely must add strength and bulk, Joseph should play early in his NFL career. At his present size, he is best suited to play "Will" in a 4-3 scheme. It's all in front of Joseph.
