Strong Points: Good CB size and length. Feet, hips and suddenness of NFL corner. Quick to transition. Speedy with a quick burst out of turn. Stays low in pedal and turns smoothly. Good man off and zone player with awareness. Plays the ball well.

Weak Points: Not a physical run-support player. Misses too many tackles. Struggles sometimes with tall receivers. Must add strength. Weak jam. Average hands.

The Way We See It: There is no question that Boyd has cover skills, but he is not a very physical player. He's very solid in man off, which he played a lot. He also played some press but doesn't get a strong jam to disrupt the route. Boyd is a very consistent zone player. He tracks the ball very well but doesn't come down with some picks he should. He's more of grab tackler than a hit-and-wrap guy. There will be teams that have Boyd higher than I do because of his cover skills, but I shy away from non-physical cover guys. Missed tackles get you beat.
