Strong Points: Adequate size with long arms and big hands. Good strength. Willing blocker. Catches the ball well. Productive 2018 (56 receptions).

Weak Points: Must add bulk. Strong but not explosive. One-speed runner whose play speed merely average. Not that effective as a blocker.

The Way We See It: Oliver is built like a "move" tight end but plays more like a "Y." He isn't fast or explosive, and I don't see a quick burst or quick twitch to his game. His length makes him difficult to cover. He only has average route quickness and isn't a threat to beat a defense deep. He has good hands and adjusts to the ball. Oliver is very willing as a blocker, but he isn't consistently productive. He is more of a wall-off blocker than a guy who will knock someone off the line of scrimmage. Oliver's NFL ceiling appears to be a TE3. He is still developing but must get bigger and stronger in order to play tight end in the NFL. His ticket to dressing on Sundays has to be proving his worth on special teams.
