Strong Points: Very strong arm and quick release. Shows he can make all the NFL-required throws, including some outstanding ones for Auburn over the past two seasons. Throws a tight, catchable ball. Good athlete who extends and makes plays with his feet. Shows he can step up in the pocket when pressured.

Weak Points: Footwork must improve -- feet are all over the place with some throws. His completion percentage dropped by six points from 2017 to last season. Often throws after receiver has made his break. Makes some poor decisions. Played poorly in some big games. Might not have the "it" factor as far as intangibles.

The Way We See It: Stidham originally enrolled at Baylor but left school after his freshman season. He enrolled at McLennan Community College for the fall of 2016 but did not play. Transferred to Auburn, where he started the past two seasons. Stidham had another year of eligibility -- and probably should have used it. He has very good physical traits, but it takes a lot more than that to be a good NFL quarterback. Could go fairly high because some teams will fall in love with those physical traits. I just don't like his game at this time -- he needs more college experience.
