Strong Points: Smart. Accurate on inside throws. Delivers quickly once decision made. Tight, over-hand motion. Reads defenses. Good decision maker.

Weak Points: Average size and speed. Only average arm strength -- cannot drive the ball. Not a run threat -- lacks the ability to extend plays with his feet.

The Way We See It: Minshew attended three schools, producing at each stop. He began at Northwest Mississippi Junior College before transferring in 2016 to East Carolina. Last season, he played at Washington State and did a good job. He usually goes to the first or second read, seldom getting through a full progression. He is most successful throwing to the middle portion of the field, as he lacks the arm strength to drive the ball with any consistency to the outside or downfield. Minshew is smart, showing good on-field leadership skills, and that will help him at the next level. He can become an adequate QB2.
