Strong Points: Good LB size and overall athleticism. Walked off in coverage a lot, which shows Houston trusted him as a coverage linebacker. Good movement skills in space and plays in man or zone with awareness.

Weak Points: More of a reactor than an anticipator when defending the run. Gets out of position too often. Slow to shed sometimes, and part of the reason is he is guessing where the ball is going. Not aggressive because he lacks awareness.

The Way We See It: Egbule is a size/speed prospect, but at this point of his career he is not a good player. Best when in coverage where his athleticism is maximized, Egbule plays man or zone but is best in man. He struggles when playing the run, as he is slow to react and get off blocks. He currently is more of a developmental guy with athletic traits who may never be what a club is looking for. He also may turn out to be just a good special teams guy who won't he trusted to play in regular defenses.
