Strong Points: Good CB size and length. Very good athlete with a quick turn, very quick feet and speed and suddenness. As physical a college corner as you will find. Very good in press coverage. Reacts very well to the ball in the air and has good hands (7 career interceptions). Excellent run-support player who can shed and tackle. Played on both the left and right sides. Top instincts and reactions.

Weak Points: So physical he gets hit with penalties. Lacks the speed of other top corners. Some clubs may prefer a little taller guy. Combine workout was average for the position.

The Way We See It: Baker is a fourth-year senior and a two-and-a-half-year starter for the Bulldogs. He has good (not great) height but his length makes up for it. Baker is a very physical football player -- and it shows in both coverage and run support. When in support, he gets rid of blocks quickly and is a very sure tackler, including some blow-up hits. In coverage, he is best in press but also good in zone and off. He is very instinctive and has excellent awareness and anticipation. Baker reacts very well to the ball in the air and has no wasted steps when closing. He keeps good position, not allowing much run after catch. A smart player who coaches will trust, he has the skill set to come in and play right away as a rookie. If he had tested well, he could have been the first corner off the board, but that didn't happen and he could slip out of the first round.

Arthur Arkush: Baker is a slightly undersized and speed-deficient scrapper whose technique and tenacity helped him compete with the best of the best in the SEC. He has positional versatility, having lined up inside and outside, and might even have the playing temperament for safety if his lack of speed proves to be an NFL detriment. Baker's poor testing doesn't show up often on film, where he's fluid and shows an extra gear (pick-six vs. South Carolina last season and traveling with talented Bama receivers in 2017). His instincts and ball skills are strengths, but there's little doubt he's endured a tough pre-draft process that could affect his draft slot.

Best Fit: Chargers, Rams, Colts, Texans

Red Flags: Poor pre-draft process -- uninspired workouts and reportedly didn't interview well with some clubs.

NFL Comp: Casey Hayward
