Strong Points: Strong and powerful. Relentless effort -- refuses to stay blocked. Quick off the ball, penetrating vs. the run. 10-yard quickness and speed. Sheds single blocks quickly and occupies blockers consistently. Double teams don't knock him off the line.

Weak Points: Short. Strictly a run-down player at the next level. Slow -- will time poorly.

The Way We See It: Mack might have undesirable physical traits, but turn on the tape and find a guy who consistently goes snap to whistle and makes plays. He is built like a block -- short but wide and thick -- and plays with very good strength. His arm length is only 32", but that's at least adequate for a 6-foot-1 tackle. What Mack does best is defend the run, where he's a single-block shedding, double-team clogging force. He will strictly be a two-down player in the NFL, but one with whom a team can win. Mack might never be a starter, but he'll be a quality 3-4 rotational plugger.
