Strong Points: Adequate size and good speed for the position. Good route runner who catches the ball cleanly. Willing blocker both in-line and while on the move. Adequate runner after the catch. Tough, aggressive and competitive.
Weak Points: Lacks size, bulk and strength to play in-tight in an NFL offense. Willing blocker but lacks the power and snap to create movement. Only third or fourth receiving option at Ole Miss so he didn't get many opportunities.
The Way We See It: Knox is a third-year junior and better player than his stat line says. The Ole Miss offense has very good wide receivers, making Knox the third or fourth target on most plays. He only had 39 combined receptions -- and no touchdowns -- over the past two seasons. What he has is speed, ball skills and route-running savvy. He Is tough and willing to compete in traffic. Knox is also very willing as a blocker, where he's effective -- especially on the move. He lines up more as a wing or flexed out than in-line as a "Y. Knox must get bigger and stronger to play at the next level, where he'll be best suited as a "move." He's also plenty tough to be a good special teams player. Knox might turn out to be a better pro than he was a college player.
