Strong Points: Three-year starter. Plays hard. Good initial quickness. Alert player. Bend. Flashes as run and pass blocker.

Weak Points: Not a top athlete. Only adequate strength -- doesn't create consistent movement with run blocks. Average anchor ability. Keeps hands low coming out of stance. Not a consistent finisher. Average ability to adjust on the move.

The Way We See It: If Powers played on another offensive line, I might like him better. At Oklahoma, alongside three top prospects, he was the weak link. Powers lacks the natural size, strength and power of the other Oklahoma linemen. When in pass pro, his ability to anchor vs. power is average, as is his ability to mirror. I'm probably being too hard on him -- he has a chance to make a team -- but he might need a year on the practice squad. He might be best suited to play center, where he can play in space less.
