- BProjectionRound 5
Strong Points: Good WR size. Good-to-very good athleticism and overall body control. Breaks down and gets out of cuts with a burst. Strong hands and adjusts to the ball in the air. Strong runner after the catch with speed, power and some elusiveness. Returns kickoffs and has NFL return potential. Good blocker.
Weak Points: Average production, which was affected by QB play. Minimal route tree. Not a burner. Must improve route-running skills.
The Way We See It: The more I watched Ratliff-Williams, the more I liked him. His production wasn't that good, but he plays with a quarterback who couldn't hit him consistently. ARW had 10 combined touchdowns his first two years at Carolina, and he's a big receiver with physicality, toughness and competitiveness. He makes contested grabs and has NFL return ability. Though he remains raw as a route runner, he can start as a WR4 or WR5 who contributes to the return and coverage units. He could develop into a starter in time.
