While not as flashy as the Lamar Jackson-to-Marquise Brown connection, there's another brewing rapport in Baltimore that shouldn't be discounted — Jackson to Mark Andrews.

Andrews is actually a more valuable fantasy asset right now than his lethal weapon teammate, with 50 standard points through two games, pacing all tight ends and checking in sixth overall among skill players in this tiny sample size alert.

That's right, one could argue Andrews has been an even bigger fantasy revelation thus far than Jackson, who was QB8 in overall average scoring once inserted into the starting lineup during his rookie 2018 campaign. That was also Andrews' NFL debut season, but he was something of an afterthought in fantasy circles despite showing off big-play potential and clearly out-performing injury-riddled first-rounder Hayden Hurst.

But Andrews has taken his game to another level in the early going, commanding 17 targets in two games, both resulting in 100-plus yard, 1-TD efforts. His 12.9 yards per target is actually tied with Brown for fifth in the NFL among qualifiers (double-digit looks). Again, small sample size, but in it we've also seen Andrews' Week 3 foe — the Kansas City Chiefs — struggle to defend opposing tight ends, who are averaging 8-71 receiving. In a likely shootout, expect Jackson's favorite target to get closer to his two-week average and remain a rock-solid TE1, if not continuing to greatly exceed those expectations.
