Clancy, Kendrick (DT)
Posted Nov. 07, 2009 @ 5:43 p.m.
Clancy was placed on injured reserve Saturday, ending his season.
Clancy, a 10th-year player in his third season with the Saints, played in two games and was inactive for five others because of the injury.
Pressley, DeMario (DT)
Posted Nov. 07, 2009 @ 5:37 p.m.
The Saints signed Pressley from the practice squad to the active roster.
Pressley, a second-year lineman out of North Carolina State, was selected by the Saints in the fifth round of the 2008 draft. The 6-foot-3, 301-pounder spent his rookie season on injured reserve rehabbing a foot injury suffered early in training camp.
Shockey, Jeremy (TE)
Posted Nov. 03, 2009 @ 5:18 p.m.
Shockey had five catches for 72 yards Monday night in the Saints' 35-27 win over Atlanta.
Shockey has only scored one touchdown since grabbing two in Week 1, but that shouldn't diminish his fantasy value. Drew Brees is clearly looking for him, but on a team with as many options as New Orleans has, he's not always going to score.
Colston, Marques (WR)
Posted Nov. 03, 2009 @ 5:17 p.m.
Colston had six catches for 85 yards and a touchdown Monday night in the Saints' 35-27 win over Atlanta.
Colston has now scored three weeks in a row. He's never going to have as effective of a season as he did in 2007, but Colston still remains the Saints' best threat to score each week.
Thomas, Pierre (RB)
Posted Nov. 03, 2009 @ 5:14 p.m.
Thomas had 14 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown and also caught a pass for a score in the Saints' 35-27 win over Atlanta on Monday night.
It's hard to tell what you're going to get week-to-week from the Saints' running backs, but Thomas remains the best threat to break a big play. Look for plenty of those the next three weeks against Carolina, Tampa Bay and St. Louis.
