Grossman, Rex (QB)
Grossman has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Washington Redskins.

Hall, DeAngelo (CB)
Hall is back with the Washington Redskins, agreeing to a more affordable one-year contract after being cut for salary cap reasons three weeks ago. A person familiar with the deal said Monday night that Hall decided to return for approximately $2 million in 2013, a considerable drop-off from the $7.5 million in salary he would have made under his previous contract.
Hall was a casualty of the Redskins' $36 million salary cap penalty imposed by the NFL for the way the team structured contracts during the 2010 uncapped season. The second half of the penalty kicked in this year, so Hall was released by coach Mike Shanahan on the eve of free agency so the Redskins could get under the cap. Hall talked to other teams but couldn't find a better option than to stay where he was - albeit for considerably less money.

Davis, Fred (TE)
A person familiar with the deal says Davis has agreed to a one-year contract to remain with the Washington Redskins. The person said Friday that Davis opted to remain with the Redskins after exploring options with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the team has yet to announce the deal. Davis might have been one of the most coveted tight ends on the free agent market if he were healthy, but he's recovering from a torn left Achilles suffered in a loss to the New York Giants in October. He had 24 catches for 325 yards in seven games last year.

Biggers, E.J. (CB)
The Washington Redskins have filled at least one hole in their depleted secondary by agreeing to terms with Biggers.

The Redskins have been looking for replacements for starter DeAngelo Hall and nickel cornerback Cedric Griffin. Hall was cut this month for salary cap reasons, and Griffin is a free agent.

Rocca, Sav (P)
The Redskins on Tuesday agreed to a two-year deal Rocca, the 39-year-old former Australian rules football player who has played two seasons in Washington.
The Redskins are traditionally an active player in free agency, but they have little money to spend because of a $36 million salary cap penalty imposed by the NFL for the way they structured contracts during the 2010 uncapped season. The second half of the penalty took effect Tuesday at the formal start of the new league year.

Griffin III, Robert (QB)
Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan says RGIII is "ahead of schedule" in his return from knee surgery.
Shanahan, speaking at the NFL owners meeting on Wednesday, said that when Griffin comes back, he must learn how to protect himself in the face of the fierce defenses in the NFL. Once Griffin does come back, Shanahan says the young quarterback needs to learn to slide and throw the ball away to avoid the big hits that lead to injuries.
