Redskins owner Daniel Snyder doesn't talk a lot publicly, but the way we hear it he felt pressure to speak about his club's plight and rumors of coaching and front-office strife.

Samuels, Chris (T)
Posted Nov. 02, 2009 @ 10:16 a.m.
Samuels is out for the season and was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 31.
The six-time Pro Bowl lineman has a chronic spinal condition and will decide in a few months whether to return next season or retire.
Campbell, Jason (QB)
Posted Oct. 27, 2009 @ 11:02 a.m.
Campbell did not show much improvement with new play caller Sherm Lewis sending in the plays Monday night against the Eagles. Campbell finished 29 for 43 for 284 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-17 loss. He also threw his seventh interception of the season, one more than he had all last season.
Campbell also had trouble getting the ball from his center and did not look comfortable with Lewis' play calls. Lewis has been with the Redskins for only three weeks after being lured out of a retirement consisting of bingo-calling and serving Meals on Wheels. Fantasy owners may not want to use Campbell as their starter.
Davis, Fred (TE)
Posted Oct. 27, 2009 @ 10:59 a.m.
Davis led the Redskins with eight catches for 78 yards Monday in a 27-17 loss to the Eagles.
Davis entered the game with seven receptions before shining under new play caller Sherm Lewis, who has been with the Redskins for only three weeks after being lured out of a retirement consisting of bingo-calling and serving Meals on Wheels. With Lewis in charge, Davis could be a focal point of Washington's offense.
Moss, Santana (WR)
Posted Oct. 27, 2009 @ 10:58 a.m.
Moss had six catches for 74 yards Monday in a 27-17 loss to the Eagles.
Moss failed to reach the end zone and didn't show much improvement under new play caller Sherm Lewis, who has been with the Redskins for only three weeks after being lured out of a retirement consisting of bingo-calling and serving Meals on Wheels.
Portis, Clinton (RB)
Posted Oct. 27, 2009 @ 10:54 a.m.
Portis rushed for only 43 yards on 14 carries Monday in a 27-17 loss to the Eagles and at one point chucked his helmet on the sideline in frustration.
Portis rushed for 109 yards the previous week against Kansas City, but new offensive play caller Sherm Lewis failed to get the former Pro Bowl running back untracked on Monday in a key NFC East clash. Lewis has been with the Redskins for only three weeks after being lured out of a retirement consisting of bingo-calling and serving Meals on Wheels.
