Means, a 5-foot-10, 188-pound first-year player out of the University of Houston, signed as a non-drafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills in July 2011. The Bills released him during the preseason and he went on to play for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League in 2011.

The Packers had to cut the mercurial tight end before 4 p.m. EDT Monday to avoid paying a $3 million roster bonus. After the deadline passed, Finley said on Twitter, "Ecstatic 2 b back w (at)packers. Best place on earth." Finley set a Packers record for receptions (61) by a tight end last season

Jones started 10 games last season and played in all 16 games. He had a career highs in tackles (102) and passes defensed (six), along with two sacks and a forced fumble.

Rodgers says injuries to "multiple lower extremities" will keep him out of the Pro Bowl later this month.
Rodgers was to be the NFC's starting quarterback. But the reigning NFL MVP said on his weekly radio show on Milwaukee's ESPN 540 AM on Tuesday that he didn't pass his year-end physical. He wouldn't get into specifics, though he did say injury to his right ankle that landed him on the injury report several times in the second half of the season "has definitely been a problem."

Rodgers connected with an NFL playoff-record 10 receivers as he threw for 274 yards in his first playoff victory at home victory Saturday over the Vikings.
Rodgers went with DuJuan Harris on Green Bay's first scoring drive, mixed it up between James Jones, Tom Crabtree and Greg Jennings on the second, and had 22- and 23-yard completions to Jordy Nelson before Kuhn scored on a 3-yard run that put the Packers up 17-3 just before the half.

Rodgers completed 28 of 40 passes for 365 yards and four touchdowns in Green Bay's loss to Minnesota on Sunday.
Rodgers finished the regular season with 39 touchdown passes - six shy of his career best established last year - compared to only eight interceptions.

Cobb caught one pass for seven yards and ran two times for six Saturday.

Rodgers threw for three touchdowns and ran for another in yet one more brilliant performance in Sunday's 55-7 drubbing of the Titans.
Rodgers and the Green Bay offense may as well have been playing Madden NFL video game for as easily as they piled up the yardage and the scores on the Titans. The reigning league MVP was 27 of 38 for 342 yards.
