Tauscher, Mark (T)
Posted March 14, 2010 @ 8:31 p.m.
The agent for Tauscher says the veteran has agreed to terms on a multiyear contract that will bring him back to the Green Bay Packers.
Agent Neil Cornrich says the deal will allow Tauscher, who went to the University of Wisconsin, to play his entire football career in his home state. Tauscher was an unrestricted free agent. Tauscher began the 2009 season out of football after sustaining a serious knee injury. The Packers brought him back in midseason and he returned to his starting spot, bringing stability to the NFL's worst pass protection unit.
Pickett, Ryan (DT)
Posted March 12, 2010 @ 8:47 p.m.
The Green Bay Packers signed Pckett to a long-term contract extension Friday.
Pickett was an unrestricted free agent, but the Packers placed the franchise tag on him earlier in the offseason. Pickett, who was signed as a free agent before the 2006 season, was a vital part of what was one of the league's best run defenses under new defensive coordinator Dom Capers and his 3-4 defensive alignment last season.
Collins, Nick (S)
Posted March 12, 2010 @ 8:46 p.m.
The Green Bay Packers signed Collins to a long-term contract extension Friday.
Collins' agents, Dave Butz and Alan Herman, confirmed a report on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Web site that Collins' deal was for three years and $23.4 million. The deal marks the end of a long wait for Collins, who was angling for a contract extension before last season.
Dillon, Charles (WR)
Posted March 09, 2010 @ 7:55 p.m.
The Green Bay Packers have signed Dillon, a first-year player who spent time in Indianapolis' training camp in 2008.
Dillon, a wide receiver and kick returner at Washington State, spent last season with the Spokane Shock of the af2 arena league.
Clifton, Chad (T)
Posted March 06, 2010 @ 5:46 p.m.
The Packers have re-signed Clifton.
Clifton will now return to the left tackle spot he has occupied for most of his 10 seasons in Green Bay. The Packers do not have an obvious candidate to replace Clifton, and reported interest in the unrestricted free agent from the Washington Redskins made for some nervous moments among Packers fans. ESPN.com reported Friday night that Clifton's deal was for three years and $20 million, with $7.5 million in guaranteed money.
