The Packers signed Means.
Means, a 5-foot-10, 188-pound first-year player out of the University of Houston, signed as a non-drafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills in July 2011. The Bills released him during the preseason and he went on to play for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League in 2011.
Finley, Jermichael (TE)
The Green Bay Packers are hanging onto Finley.
The Packers had to cut the mercurial tight end before 4 p.m. EDT Monday to avoid paying a $3 million roster bonus. After the deadline passed, Finley said on Twitter, "Ecstatic 2 b back w (at)packers. Best place on earth." Finley set a Packers record for receptions (61) by a tight end last season
Jones, Brad (LB)
The Green Bay Packers have re-signed lJones.
Jones started 10 games last season and played in all 16 games. He had a career highs in tackles (102) and passes defensed (six), along with two sacks and a forced fumble.
Rodgers, Aaron (QB)
Rodgers says injuries to "multiple lower extremities" will keep him out of the Pro Bowl later this month.
Rodgers was to be the NFC's starting quarterback. But the reigning NFL MVP said on his weekly radio show on Milwaukee's ESPN 540 AM on Tuesday that he didn't pass his year-end physical. He wouldn't get into specifics, though he did say injury to his right ankle that landed him on the injury report several times in the second half of the season "has definitely been a problem."
Cobb, Randall (WR)
Cobb should be ready for Saturday night's NFC divisional playoff game against San Francisco despite missing practice Wednesday.
Cobb was sent home with the flu, the latest Packer to get sick.
