Diehl, David (T)

Posted March 27, 2013 @ 3:57 p.m.
The New York Giants put a little more money in the Victor Cruz contract fund this week by cutting Diehl's salary by nearly $3.5 million.
The paycut was revealed when a look at Diehl's salary for this season was listed at $1 million on the NFLPA website Wednesday. The 11-year veteran had been scheduled to make $4.37 million in the final year of his contract. Diehl started 11 games in 2012, missing five with a knee injury.

Boothe, Kevin (G)

Posted March 25, 2013 @ 1:15 p.m.
The Giants on Monday announced Boothe has re-signed after spending time on the free agent market. Contract terms were not immediately available.
The signing comes a little less than a month after left tackle Will Beatty signed a new five-year contract to stay with the Giants. Since the offseason ended, center David Baas restructured his contract to give the team more cap space. Right guard Chris and right tackle David Diehl are also under contract. The versatile Boothe started all 16 games at left guard last season, and the past 22 games overall.

Carr, David (QB)

Posted March 21, 2013 @ 12:58 p.m.
The Giants have re-signed Carr.
Carr, the former No. 1 overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft, will again back up Eli Manning, as he has for four of the last five seasons. The backup role is somewhat ceremonial for the Giants. Manning has started 135 consecutive regular-season games, a run that started in the second half of the 2004 season.

Murphy, Louis (WR)

Posted March 19, 2013 @ 2:02 p.m.
With leading receiver Victor Cruz still unsigned, the New York Giants have added Murphy.
The Giants on Tuesday confirmed the signing of the speedy receiver who played last season with Carolina. The five-year veteran has 115 receptions for 1,707 yards and seven touchdowns, including 25 catches with the Panthers in 2012. Murphy was Oakland's fourth-round draft choice in 2009. As a rookie, he scored four touchdowns.

Myers, Brandon (TE)

Posted March 17, 2013 @ 2:40 p.m.
Myers has signed with the New York Giants as a free agent.
Myers spent the first four seasons of his career with the Oakland Raiders. He's played in 58 career games with 28 starts and posted his best season in 2012, when he started all 16 games and had career-high totals of 79 receptions for 806 yards and four touchdowns.

Connor, Dan (LB)

Posted March 16, 2013 @ 2:38 p.m.
Connor has signed with the New York Giants as a free agent. The Giants announced the signing of the former Penn State product Saturday without disclosing details.
Connor can play both inside and outside, so his signing casts some doubt on whether New York will bring back middle linebacker Chase Blackburn, who is a free agent.

Rivers, Keith (LB)

Posted March 15, 2013 @ 11:23 a.m.
Rivers has signed a new one-year deal with the New York Giants.
Rivers, a former first-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, was traded to New York for a fifth-round pick on April 11, 2012. He missed five games with the Giants because of a slow-healing hamstring injury. Rivers, 27, has never played a full season, and sat out all of 2011 with the Bengals after undergoing wrist surgery.

Mundy, Ryan (S)

Posted March 14, 2013 @ 5:25 p.m.
The Giants have signed Mundy.
Mundy arrives by way of Pittsburgh, where he played four seasons for the Steelers. He played in all 16 regular-season games in each of those seasons, with five starts, and also played in four Pittsburgh postseason games.

Ross, Aaron (CB)

Posted March 14, 2013 @ 5:25 p.m.
The Giants have signed Ross.
Ross, a former New York No. 1 draft choice, played for the Giants from 2007-2011 and started in two Super Bowl victories. He played last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Brown, Josh (K)

Posted March 13, 2013 @ 1:51 p.m.
The Giants on Wednesday announced that they had signed 11-year veteran Josh Brown.
The 34-year-old Brown played four games with Cincinnati last season after Mike Nugent was hurt. He also has played with Seattle and St. Louis, scoring more than 1,000 points. He joins former Dallas Cowboy David Buehler and first-year kicker Jake Rogers on the Giants' roster.
