STATS, LLC PLAYER NEWS

Gordy, Josh (CB)

Posted April 15, 2013 @ 4:05 p.m.
Gordy has re-signed with the Indianapolis Colts. The third-year player was an exclusive rights free agent. Indy made a trade for Gordy last August and he finished the season with 15 tackles and his first career sack. He also had three interceptions as a rookie for the Rams.
It's been a busy offseason for the Colts, who have signed 10 unrestricted free agents from other teams and a few of their own free agents, such as cornerback Darius Butler and defensive tackle Fili Moala. Gordy and defensive tackle Martin Tevaseu also have signed their exclusive rights tenders with the Colts, and earlier this month, punter Pat McAfee signed his franchise tender with Indy.

Heyward-Bey, Darrius (WR)

Posted April 01, 2013 @ 9:35 p.m.
The Colts have agreed to terms with Heyward-Bey.
In 2012, Heyward-Bey started 14 games and had 41 receptions for 606 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. Heyward-Bey has 140 receptions for 2,071 yards and 11 touchdowns since being selected by Oakland with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 draft. Over the past four seasons, he led the Raiders in receptions and yards receiving, while finishing second in touchdowns behind Denarius Moore (12).

Heyward-Bey, Darrius (WR)

Posted March 25, 2013 @ 4:41 p.m.
The Indianapolis Colts next free agent target is Heyward-Bey. Indy, which has already signed eight players from other teams, has invited Heyward-Bey for a two-day visit that was supposed to begin Monday. The information was first posted on the team's website.
Oakland took Heyward-Bey with the seventh overall pick in the draft in 2009 but never lived up to the hype. In four seasons, he has 140 career receptions for 2,071 yards and 11 touchdown catches. He was released by the Raiders earlier this month.

Franklin, Aubrayo (NT)

Posted March 20, 2013 @ 5:39 p.m.
Indianapolis has signed Franklin and is bringing back offensive guard Joe Reitz. The Colts made the announcements Wednesday afternoon.
Franklin, who is 6-foot-1, 315 pounds, is a 10-year veteran who played most recently with San Diego last year. He made nine starts for the Chargers and finished with 23 tackles. He was originally drafted by Baltimore in 2003, has four career sacks and is the eighth free agent Indy has signed from another team.

Hasselbeck, Matt (QB)

Posted March 19, 2013 @ 12:02 p.m.
The Indianapolis Colts jumped at the chance to get a veteran backup for Andrew Luck. On Tuesday, this year's busiest team in free agency signed Hasselbeck to a contract. Terms were not immediately released.
Indy needed a veteran backup after Drew Stanton left for Arizona, where he was reunited with Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians. Hasselbeck is a three-time Pro Bowl selection who led Seattle to the Super Bowl in 2005. He was released by Tennessee and didn't stay on the street long after Tennessee released him Monday.
