Alleman, Andy (G)
Posted March 11, 2010 @ 3:42 p.m.
The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent guard Alleman. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder was New Orleans' third-round draft choice in 2007. He started four games in Miami in 2008, and started three games for Kansas City last season.
Alleman played college football at Akron. The signing announced Thursday comes three days after the Colts released Ryan Lilja, their starting left guard.
Skolnitsky, J.D. (DE)

The Indianapolis Colts have claimed Skolnitsky off waivers from the Washington Redskins.
Skolnitsky was on the Redskins' practice squad last season after being signed as an undrafted free agent. The team announced the move Tuesday. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive end played at James Madison and fits the Colts' model for defensive linemen: undersized and quick.
Brackett, Gary (LB)

The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed Brackett, the leader of their defense.
A starter for the last five seasons, Brackett became an unrestricted free agent on Friday. But he quickly rejoined the Colts, for whom he has had more than 100 tackles in each of those five years.

The Indianapolis Colts are still hoping to work out a deal with defensive captain Brackett.
There was no update negotiations between Brackett's agent, Brian Mackler, and the Colts. Brackett was not given the franchise or transition tags last week, which could have virtually assured that he would stay in Indy. If the Colts cannot agree on a new deal before midnight, Brackett would become an unrestricted free agent - something team president Bill Polian would like to avoid.
Bethea, Antoine (S)

ESPN.com has reported that Bethea has been given a first-round tender by the Colts. He has played in two Pro Bowls, including this season when he was chosen as an alternate.
Indianapolis has indicated that they would like to keep Bethea for at least one more year.
