Suspended WR Donté Stallworth was reinstated by the league Monday, as commissioner Roger Goodell had said he would be, but the Browns promptly released the receiver.

Cribbs, Joshua (WR)
Posted Jan. 28, 2010 @ 11:54 p.m.
Cribbs is feeling more confident that he'll be playing for the Browns next season.
Cribbs, the multitalented wide receiver and kick returner who'll play for the AFC in Sunday's Pro Bowl, said earlier this month that he thought it was "unlikely" he'll play another game for Cleveland after a $1.4 million contract offer for next season. But on Thursday, he indicated that new Browns president Mike Holmgren has reached out to him and "wants to get something done soon."
Quinn, Brady (QB)

Cleveland Browns president Mike Holmgren says a foot specialist has recommended that Quinn does not need foot surgery.
Quinn sustained a Lisfranc injury on his left foot against Kansas City on Dec. 20. On Tuesday, Quinn visited Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte, N.C. Holmgren said it was his understanding that Anderson does not feel Quinn needs an operation. Holmgren said Quinn will return to Cleveland next week to be examined by the team's medical staff. If surgery is required, a Lisfranc foot injury can sideline a player for months.

Veikune was placed on IR with a knee injury.
Cribbs, Joshua (WR)

The agent for Cleveland Browns return specialist said the Pro Bowler will clean out his locker at the team's facility after an insulting contract offer from the club.
Schaffer said he gave the Browns until the end of the business day on Wednesday to come up with a better deal than the $1.4 million per year they offered. Cribbs has three years remaining on a six-year, $6.77 million deal. Cribbs was Cleveland's most valuable player this season. He set the NFL career record for most kickoff returns for touchdowns.
Harrison, Jerome (RB)
Posted Jan. 04, 2010 @ 4:58 p.m.
Harrison rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown as the Browns beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 23-17 on Sunday, giving Cleveland its first four-game winning streak since 1994 to push Mangini into an uncertain offseason with momentum to fight for his job.
Harrison's emergence was one of many surprises for the Browns down the stretch. He made the most of his opportunity after Jamal Lewis sustained a season-ending injury and capped his three-week breakout by rushing for 561 yards on 106 carries.
