The 33-year-old McCown finished the last two years with the Bears, joining them each season in November after starter Jay Cutler was injured. Bears General Manager Phil Emery says Slauson's size and strength will make him a challenger for a starting guard position. Slauson, 6-5, 315-pounds, started 48 of 51 games with the Jets. New York drafted him out of Nebraska in 2009. Last season he didn't allow any sacks. Slauson was listed on New York's injury report with a knee injury last season.

The 6-foot-6, 318-pound Scott signed with the Bears last September and appeared in 12 games while making seven starts - six at right tackle. He has started 35 of 70 games played for Detroit (2006-07), Buffalo (2009), Pittsburgh (2010-11) and Chicago (2012) after being drafted in the fifth round by the Lions in 2006. He was let go by Pittsburgh last July and picked up by Detroit, but he got released off injured reserve after suffering a knee injury.

The Chicago Bears have agreed to a one-year contract with Zbikowski.
The Notre Dame alum and professional boxer has appeared in 64 games with 25 starts over five seasons with Indianapolis in 2012 and with Baltimore from 2008 to 2011. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Zbikowski recorded 89 tackles, three interceptions, eight pass break-ups and two sacks during those seasons.
