The Cowboys released LB Dan Connor and restructured three contracts on Monday to get under the salary cap.
Every team needs to be under the $123.0 million cap by Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, the start of the 2013 league year.
Connor had 57 tackles in 14 games (eight starts) in 2012, his first year with Dallas. Connor, 27, has 212 tackles in five NFL seasons.
Dallas restructured the deals of CB Orlando Scandrick, DT Jay Ratliff and OG Mackenzy Bernadeau.
