Here’s a look at one record or milestone per team achieved during the 2012 season.
Cardinals: WR Larry Fitzgerald is the first Cardinal with 750-plus receptions (764).
Falcons: Mike Smith surpassed Dan Reeves for most coaching wins (including postseason) in Falcons history (56).
Ravens: RB Ray Rice amassed 1,600 yards from scrimmage for the fourth consecutive season, breaking Jamal Lewis’ team record.
Bills: Stevie Johnson became the first Bills wide receiver to post three consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
Panthers: Steve Smith became the first Panther with 700 career receptions.
Bears: Tim Jennings became the first Bear since Mark Carrier in 1990 to lead the league in interceptions (nine).
Bengals: Jermaine Gresham is the first tight end in team history with three 50-reception seasons (2010-12).
Browns: Trent Richardson rushed for more yards (950) and touchdowns (11) than any other Browns rookie.
Cowboys: Tony Romo (177) passed Troy Aikman (165) for the most TD passes in team history.
Broncos: OLB Von Miller set a franchise record with 18½ sacks.
Lions: Matthew Stafford set the club record with his fourth game-winning TD pass in the final minute of the fourth quarter.
Packers: WR Randall Cobb set a franchise record with 2,342 all-purpose yards.
Texans: WR Andre Johnson set a club record with 1,598 receiving yards.
Colts: Reggie Wayne moved into second on the club’s all-time scrimmage yards list with 13,058.
Jaguars: PK Josh Scobee set franchise records for points scored (848) and field goals made (192) in a career.
Chiefs: RB Jamaal Charles became the third player in club history to rush for 1,500 yards in a season.
Dolphins: DE Cameron Wake has the most sacks of any Dolphin in his first four seasons (43).
Vikings: Blair Walsh’s 141 points (35 FGs, 36 PATs) are the most by a Vikings rookie.
Patriots: They recorded at least 350 total net yards in an NFL-record 17 consecutive games (from Nov. 6, 2011 to Oct. 28, 2012).
Saints: Drew Brees passed for 4,000-plus yards for the seventh consecutive season.
Giants: S Stevie Brown set a franchise record with 307 interception-return yards.
Jets: Became the third team in NFL history to get a rushing, passing, interception-return and punt-return TD in a season opener.
Eagles: Jeremy Maclin’s 258 receptions are the most by any Eagle in his first four seasons.
Steelers: QB Ben Roethlisberger became the club’s all-time leading passer (29,844 passing yards).
Rams: CB Janoris Jenkins tied an NFL rookie record with three interception-return TDs.
Chargers: QB Philip Rivers became the first Charger to pass for 3,500 yards in five consecutive seasons.
Seahawks: DE Chris Clemons became the first Seahawk to record at least 10 sacks in each of his first three seasons with the club.
Buccaneers: QB Josh Freeman threw for a club-record 4,065 yards.
Titans: WR Kendall Wright caught 64 passes, the second-most by a rookie in team history.
Redskins: Alfred Morris’ 13 rushing TDs set a Redskins single-season rookie record.
