The Jets parted ways with quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News

Per the report, the Jets will look for a “quarterbacks guru” to help with Mark Sanchez.

Cavanaugh spent four seasons as the Jets’ quarterbacks coach, working with Sanchez in those four years. He has spent time as an assistant with the Ravens, Bears, 49ers and Cardinals.
