Multiple reports from around the league on Tuesday say that the Cardinals and Andy Reid could complete a deal by the end of the week to become the team's next head coach.

Reid, who was fired by the Eagles on Monday after 14 years in Philly, could be reunited with former Browns GM Tom Heckert, who also was fired Monday. Heckert and Reid worked together in Philadelphia.

Reports are that Cardinals team president Michael Bidwill already has interviewed defensive coordinator Ray Horton for the head-coaching job, which would satisfy the NFL's Rooney Rule since Horton is a minority candidate.
