The Raiders intend to have QB Terrelle Pryor active and ready to run a package of plays for the third consecutive game in Week 15, when Oakland will host Kansas City.

Raiders head coach Dennis Allen did not say Thursday night whether Pryor would play next week, but the team’s front office would like to get a chance to evaluate Pryor in a regular-season game and the timing could be right for Pryor to make his 2012 debut with the Raiders set to play their final home game of the season.

Starting QB Carson Palmer has taken every snap at quarterback in the two games with Pryor on the active game-day roster.

“We’ve had a package in for Terrelle in both games, but again, like I said, we had 47 plays in the game tonight, so the situation didn’t play out,” Allen said after Thursday’s loss to the Broncos. “Terrelle, I believe, will continue to be on our active game-day roster and we’ll continue to carry a package of plays for him.”

Palmer turned the ball over twice Thursday, but he had a passer rating of 101.1 — it was his third game this season with a rating above 100. Pryor has appeared in only one game since entering the league last season. He took a snap vs. the Chiefs in a Week Seven game last season but was penalized for a false start on the play.
