The NFL will not suspend Lions DT Ndamukong Suh for Thursday’s incident involving Texans QB Matt Schaub, according to league spokesman Greg Aiello.

After Schaub threw a pass, Suh’s left leg hit the quarterback below the belt as Suh fell to the turf. Aiello said the incident will be reviewed for a potential fine.

“From my personal point of view, it was unusual, to say the least,” NFL executive VP of football operations Ray Anderson told USA Today Sports after the incident. “Don’t know if it was a football move I’ve ever seen.”

Suh has 20 tackles and 4½ sacks this season.
