Chiefs QB Matt Cassel has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers. Brady Quinn will start in his place.

Cassel suffered a concussion in last Sunday’s loss to the Ravens. This season, he has completed 58.5 percent of his passes for five touchdowns and nine interceptions. Cassel also has lost four fumbles.

Quinn completed his only two pass attempts when he entered last week’s game for 32 yards. He has not started a game since 2009, when he started nine games for the Browns and threw eight touchdowns and seven interceptions. Second-year QB Ricky Stanzi will be Quinn's backup.
