The Chargers signed CB Chris Carr, his agent confirmed to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Carr worked out for the Chargers on Sept. 18 and adds depth to a position that has been without Shareece Wright, who suffered a high ankle sprain in Week One. Only three corners dressed for Sunday’s win against the Chiefs and the Chargers next play the pass-happy Saints in Week Five.
Carr, 29, played in nine games with one start last year for the Ravens and had 19 tackles, one sack and three passes defensed. He did not miss a game from 2005-10, playing for the Raiders, Titans and Ravens. Carr has 24 career passes defensed and six interceptions.
