The Chargers cut WR-RS Roscoe Parrish on Monday as they trimmed their roster to 75 players.
Parrish, an eight-year veteran, had signed a one-year deal with the Chargers in April after spending his previous seven seasons with the Bills. He had only two catches for 14 yards in a poor preseason showing.
The team also placed OG Johnnie Troutman, a fifth-round rookie, on the reserve/non-football injury list and veteran OG Brandyn Dombrowski on the reserve/non-football illness list.
San Diego also waived eight players — WR Jason Barnes, WR Taylor Embree, WR Phillip Payne, DT Eddie Brown, LS Nick Guess, RB Michael Hayes, TE Brad Taylor and OT Phil Trautwein.
Finally, the Chargers reached injury settlements with DT Garrett Brown, who was waived, and OT Michael Toudouze, who was cut.
