The Chargers announced Wednesday that they have signed veteran OTs Anthony Davis and Michael Toudouze. Both signed one-year contracts.
Davis, a 6-4, 320-pound Virginia Tech product, most recently played for the Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League in 2011 and the UFL’s Florida Tuskers from 2009-10. He last played in the NFL with the Buccaneers in 2008.
Toudouze, a 6-6, 300-pound TCU product, spent parts of the past six seasons with the Colts after being drafted in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL draft. He has appeared in nine career games with one start and won a Super Bowl ring with the Colts following the ’06 season. Toudouze also played in the United Football League for the New York Sentinels in 2009 and the Florida Tuskers in '10.
To make room for Davis and Toudouze on the roster, the Chargers waived OT John Cullen and placed FB-TE Patrick Doyle on the waived-injured list.
