The Bills announced Friday that LB Kirk Morrison has agreed to terms on a contract extension with the team. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Morrison a seven-year NFL veteran, saw action in 14 games with Buffalo in 2011, totaling seven tackles and one sack. Though he didn't start a game in ’11, he has started 95-of-110 career games since entering the NFL in 2005.

The 6-2, 245-pound San Diego State product has totaled 771 tackles (580 solo), six sacks, seven interceptions and 18 passes defensed.

Morrison was a third-round (78th overall) draft choice by Oakland in 2005 and was acquired by Jacksonville via trade in ’10 before joining Buffalo as a free agent on Aug. 26, 2011.

"I'm happy to announce on this Friday that I re-signed with the Buffalo Bills. Couldn't be more excited to be coming back," Morrison tweeted on Friday.
