The Raiders have added six assistant coaches to new head coach Dennis Allen's staff, the team announced Tuesday, including two who are returning to the team for a second stint.

Returning are QB coach John DeFilippo, who coached the Oakland quarterbacks in 2007 and '08, and DB coach Clayton Lopez, who served the Raiders in a similar capacity in 2004 and '05.

Also hired were WR coach Ted Gilmore, TE coach Mark Hutson, DL coach Terrell Williams and DB coach Johnnie Lynn. Hutson's hiring had been reported by Fox Sports on Saturday.

DeFilippo spent one season (2009) as the Jets' assistant QB coach before serving in a similar capacity at San Jose State the past two seasons. Lopez was most recently with the Rams, where he spent three seasons coaching the cornerbacks.

Gilmore and Hutson will be coaching in the NFL for the first time. Gilmore spent 17 seasons on the collegiate level, most recently as USC's WR coach in 2011, and Hutson coached the past five seasons as an assistant at Tulane. Williams is beginning his first full-time job in the NFL after coaching Texas A&M's defensive line the past two years.

Lynn has been an assistant at the NFL level for 17 seasons, most recently coaching the Eagles' defensive backs in 2011. Prior to that, he spent five seasons with the 49ers as secondary coach.
