Senior editor Mike Wilkening covers the AFC North, as well as the Texans and Titans, for Pro Football Weekly. He compiles PFW’s NFL player rankings for its annual preview magazine and is the author of the “NFList,” a poll of coaches and evaluators that runs throughout the year. He leads PFW’s handicapping coverage, writing a weekly handicapping column for ProFootballWeekly.com during the season and regularly posting on his blog, “Covering the Spread.” He also contributes to PFW’s fantasy-football coverage. From February through July, he is the co-host of the nationally syndicated Pro Football Weekly/Basketball News radio show. Wilkening, who joined Pro Football Weekly in September 2002, holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
