Dan Parr joined PFW in August 2007 as an editorial assistant, and was promoted to associate editor in October of the same year. He covers the NFC South as well as the Broncos and Raiders. Dan has traveled to Indianapolis in each of the past two years, contributing to PFW’s coverage of the Scouting Combine. A native of Oak Park, Ill., he graduated from the University of Iowa in May ’07 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication and Political Science. He covered football, men’s basketball and several other sports as a beat reporter, columnist and sports editor for the campus newspaper, The Daily Iowan, from June ’05-May ’07. Dan’s work has appeared in other publications, including the Chicago Sun-Times, for whom he covered prep sports, and the Des Moines Register.
