Linebacker-tight end who also played baseball as a prep in California, where he was a teammate of Oregon LB Josh Kaddu. Redshirted in 2007. A defensive end for the FCS Hornets, Nash started all 11 games in which he played in ’08, recording 47 tackles, 5 1/2 for loss and 3 1/2 sacks with five batted passes and a blocked kick. Did not play against Southern Oregon (concussion). Started all 11 games in which he played in ’10 when he established a school single-season sack record by registering 37-16 1/2-13 with six forced fumbles. Sustained a concussion against Northern Arizona and did not play against Northern Colorado or Montana State.
