Notes: Also participated in soccer, ice hockey and rugby as a Maryland prep. Walked on at Duke and didn’t see any action in 2007 (redshirt) or ’08. Led the Blue Devils in scoring in ’09, making all 24 point-after tries along with 17-of-20 field-goal attempts with a long of 51 yards. Also kicked off 47 times for an average of 60.4 with two touchbacks. Did not play against North Carolina after injuring his leg in pregame warm-ups. Was awarded a scholarship during spring practice before becoming Duke’s first All-America placekicker in ’10. Converted 21-of-24 FG attempts (for a school record 87.5 percent) and a long of 52 and made all 32 PATs to lead the team with 95 points. Also handled kickoffs 60-64.7-11.
