Notes: Also participated in basketball, track and wrestling as a North Carolina prep. Became the first true freshman in 18 years to start at left tackle for the Bulldogs in 2007 and made all 13 starts. Missed the ’08 season after tearing the ACL in his left knee during a preseason scrimmage. Returned in ’09 to start the season opener at left tackle vs. Oklahoma State but tore the ACL in his left knee again and missed the rest of the season. Appeared in 12 games and made seven starts at left tackle in ’10. Suffered another major knee injury during ’11 spring practice, tearing the ACL in his right knee and will miss the season.
