Saw action in 15 games as a reserve and special-teams player in ’08, recording 17 tackles, no pass breakups and zero interceptions with one tackle for loss and one forced fumble. Spent the season as a reserve CB and kickoff returner in 13 contests, registering 38-4-2 with 3 1/2 tackles for loss and one sack. Also had 12 kickoff returns for 303 yards (25.2-yard average) and a 94-yard touchdown against Georgetown. Scored his first career points against Towson, returning an interception 32 yards for a touchdown. Made all 11 starts at cornerback in ’10 and posted 70-5-3 with 1 1/2 tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble. Used sparingly on kickoffs with 4-94-0 (23.5) plus one rush for five yards against Elon and a 32-yard reception vs. Villanova. Dealt with an AC joint separation in his shoulder early in the season but didn’t miss any games. Team captain.
