Name is pronounced “TYE-ree YOOR-ee.” Spent the 2008 and ’09 seasons at Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa., where he was an all-conference performer as a sophomore. Enrolled at Minnesota in January ’09 in order to go through spring drills with the Gophers and played in 11 games in the fall, grabbing three passes for 47 yards (15.7-yard average) and one touchdown. Left the team in June ’11 because, according to head coach Jerry Kill, “it just didn’t work out.”
