Notes: His father, Jon Embree, is the head football coach at the University of Colorado. Helped his school win a state title in basketball his senior season as a Kansas prep. Spent his first three years attending high school in California, when his father was coaching at UCLA. Grayshirted in 2007. Started 8-of-12 contests as a true freshman in ’08 and led the squad in receiving yards, grabbing 40 passes for 531 yards (13.3-yard average) and zero touchdowns. Made six starts at split end, one at flanker and one in a three-WR set. Led the team in receptions in ’09 after grabbing 45-608-2 (13.5) in 13 games (12 starts at split end). Did not start against Oregon State. Was the Bruins’ leading receiver in ’10 after posting 32-409-0 (12.8) in 12 games. Made eight starts at flanker and three at split end while Nelson Rosario was injured. Also contributed on special teams with 15 punt returns for 104 yards (6.9-yard average). Saw action in all 13 games, making a start at split end against his dad's Colorado team, and finished with 20-228-2 (11.4) receiving and 12-57-0 (4.8) in punt returns in '11. Served a one game suspension against California game after being ejected for fighting vs. Arizona.
