Hurt his right hand against Idaho in ’09 and sprained his right ankle against Wyoming in ’10. Started every game for the third consecutive season in ’11 and tallied 234-447-3,153-23-8 (53.0) in 13 starts. Leaves as the Aztecs’ career leader in passing yards (12,690), touchdown passes (90) and quarterback starts (49). Was the first SDSU quarterback to be invited to the Senior Bowl since Dan McGwire in 1990. Had a career record of 23-26 in 49 starts. Team captain.
