Has a son. Was a first-team all-state linebacker as a Washington prep, where he also saw action at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, strong safety and cornerback. Also participated in basketball and track. Redshirted as a safety in 2007 and earned the Special Teams Scout of the Year Award. Was switched to cornerback in ’08 and started 11-of-12 games played (all but UCLA), recording 32 tackles, seven pass breakups and one interception with 1½ tackles for loss. Was a part-time kickoff returner with 18 returns for 352 yards (19.6-yard average). Saw action in all 12 games in ’09, starting the first six games at cornerback before losing his starting spot, and posted 26-2-0 with half a tackle for loss and a forced fumble. Also had 19-369-0 (19.4) as a kickoff returner. In ’10, he returned to his starting CB spot and recorded 37-8-2 with two tackles for loss and one forced fumble in 13 games. Had a 28-yard interception return for a touchdown against UCLA. In '11, he managed 40-5-0 with one tackle for loss in 12 games (eight starts) and missed only the season-opener after suffering a high ankle sprain in early August.

Well put together college cornerback who might not have the pure cover ability to hang outside in the pros, but has size and outstanding speed to be considered as a FS-conversion candidate. Questionable instincts, tackling and toughness.
