Threw the shot put for the track team in the spring of ’09, In the fall, appeared in all 13 games as a backup defensive tackle and posted 19-3- 1/2 with two interceptions and one forced fumble. Played in 12 games, starting the last 10 games at defensive tackle, in ’10 and logged 42-8-3 with one pass batted down and a 22-yard interception return for a touchdown.
