Was a running back and 100-meter dash state champion as a Louisiana prep. Also runs for the Warhawks’ indoor and outdoor track teams. Appeared in 11 games as a true freshman in 2008, catching 12 passes for 160 yards (13.3-yard average) and one touchdown, rushing three times for five yards (1.7-yard average) and zero touchdowns. Also returned 23 kickoffs for 522 yards (22.7-yard average), including a 91-yard touchdown vs. Arkansas State. Led the team in all-purpose yards in ’09 with 1,647 in 12 games (four starts) after recording 35-311-1 (8.9) rushing, 34-355-4 (13.4) receiving and 38-382-0 (21.9) as a kickoff returner. Won the Sun Belt Conference 100- and 200-meter dashes and placed third in the 100-meter dash at the NCAA championships to earn All-America honors during the 2010 outdoor track season. Was the leading receiver for the Warhawks in ’10, grabbing 65-752-6 (11.6) in 12 starts. Also rushed 10-13-0 (1.3) and returned kickoffs 20-395-0 (19.8).
