Notes:

His younger brother, Kyle, is also a wide receiver for the Spartans. Was one of the nation’s top dual-threat quarterbacks as a Michigan prep, compiling a 33-3 record as a three-year starter and accounting for more than 9,650 yards and 58 touchdowns. Began his college career at Oklahoma in 2007, completing 2-of-7 passes (28.6 percent) for 15 yards with zero touchdowns or interceptions and 13 rushing yards on three carries (4.3-yard average) in three games. Wore uniform No. 6 for the Sooners. Sat out the ’08 season after transferring but earned the Scout Team Offensive Player of the Year award. Saw action in 10 games in ’09, making one start at quarterback for the injured Kirk Cousins at Illinois. For the season, threw 49-91-764-7-3 (53.8) and ran 22-128-1 (5.8). Transitioned to wide receiver during practice for the Valero Alamo Bowl vs. Texas Tech and started, catching a pair of passes for 11 yards (6.5-yard average). Missed two games with an elbow injury and did not play against Purdue. Began his first full season as a wide receiver in ’10 and played in all 13 games, catching 22-262-1 (11.9), throwing 4-7-62-2-0 (57.1) and rushing 4-9-0 (2.3). Made eight starts during the season — five at the “X” receiver position, two as the third WR and one as the “Z” receiver. Saw action in all 14 games, making four starts at the "Z" receiver and one at the "X" receiver, and hauled in 26-352-3 (13.5) in '11.
