Notes: Was a wide receiver as a Texas prep before being converted to linebacker during the 2007 season, which he redshirted. Saw action in all 12 games (five starts at outside linebacker) in ’08, recording 36 tackles, 2 1/2 tackles for loss and 1 1/2 sacks with one pass breakup and one forced fumble. Started 11-of-13 contests at outside linebacker in ’09 and posted 74-8 1/2-1 with one interception and one forced fumble. Saw limited reserve duty against Colorado with an ankle injury and did not start the Independence Bowl against Georgia. Moved inside in ’10 and started all 13 games, recording 112-5-0 with one pass breakup and one forced fumble. In '11, he tallied 38-1/2-0 in nine games, making the first five starts of the season at ILB before losing his starting job. Sat out the Iowa State game with a sprained ankle. Graduated.
